Cant wait to go back! Ordered to-go meals in the Nanaimo area and the kitchen had no problem starting the food a bit later so that it would be picked up hot and fresh, and it was when we arrived. Took it on the road to Ukee, and on the way back to Victoria we stopped in for a sit down. It has a fast paced, friendly, efficient serving style and the food is hearty and delicious! The atmosphere was positive, and a bit loud at times, but thats the style. Looking forward to round 3!
This is a great place. Friendly.. super clean.. amazing food. Often come here for breakfast. Its 2 stars above other breakfast places... they use high end ingredients and it shows. You will love it
If visiting Port Alberni this cafe you dont want to pass up. The food selection is very wide, it is well presented and the quality is outstanding. I cannot say enough about the excellent service the staff provide including the owners Laura and Darren. Without a doubt they are very skilled at managing a team that consistently provide that quality of food and service. Dont miss this Cafe or you will have missed a great eatery Ron and Carol from Calgary

When their food is good its great, love the ribs and burgers, also zukini sticks are so yummy. Also good is their breakfasts, omelets hit the spot, when I request extra crispy bacon I get it :) I however have also noticed there are times where salads just taste like it's been stored to long or even cut up on same surface as other vegetables and when there's so much to cut up flavour of fresh onions really sets into everything and I'm not a fan of onions. I also have had about a 1in 8 experience with the waitresses, meaning only 1 waitress out of 8 times I go is friendly, and checks on me more than the 3 times when they were taking my order at the same time as my drink order because I waited that long, bring the food and then the bill. 3 stars and not 4 mainly because of my experience with waitresses.
