Very big ( too big honestly) portions and nice service. The blue cheese burger had a very weird strong taste I did not expect. Had stomach ache later that day. My other lunch companions did not have any problems but I was the only one with the blue cheese burger and clam chowder that day. Otherwise typical seafood restaurant atmosphere in there and 40 year old trivia pursuit cards at the tables which was entertaining.
The food was okay. I did not think it was great, and nothing in particular would bring me back for more.The decor was really funky, and it is a cool little place that you should go see. I forgot to snap pictures of the menu but they really did have a very full menu with many many options to choose from. I'm sure they must have a few specialty items that people love but the three of us didn't apparently select them lol.I would definitely not go back. Once was enough for me as an experience. :)it was quite a busy place so there must be something about it that people like other than the atmosphere.The service was actually nice there were no issues in that regard. All the stuff seem to smile and be pleasant.
Fantastic restaurant, beautifully designed and decorated inside and out. The food was delicious and the seafood was top notch! Best restaurant in Port Alberni for sure.The service staff was really friendly and helpful, the food was well prepared and serviced to us pretty quickly. Overall a very positive experience.
I came here with my coworkers during a work trip. From the moment we walked in, I loved the signs and the general feeling of this place. The menu was slightly overwhelming but in the end I got a salmon burger and fries and shared a large clam chowder to start. The chowder was great and very filling. The salmon burger was decent and the fries were plentiful. All the staff was fantastic. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area.
Fabulous restaurant! We had dinner here last night and the service was amazing and food was great. I love the updated decor and menu. Would highly recommend for families - has a casual yet very friendly vibe.
