Had a group of 10+ but was told they could not accommodate us as they were too busy and only a couple people working. (The place was almost empty). The next time I was given the wrong order and was told I was wrong when I spoke up, and that any previous visits when ordering the same meal "I must have been special/lucky" . Then was told half way through eating someone else's custom burger I was in fact correct. Was offered the missing food items on a side plate after the fact. Also... after paying cash the waitress took the bill and said thank you and walked away in a hurry before we could ask for change. Was a regular but will not be back.
The food is awesome and portions big. Staff Re friendly and service was fast on a busy night!
The food is huge. Mainly burgers on the menu but the have other stuff. I thought the onion on the burger was almost nonexistent. But the soup was beef barley and was excellent. Service was really good and fairly quick.
Fantastic burgers! Great prices too! It's got a rustic hunting lodge sort of charm to it, with a fireplace lounge smack dab in the centre. The servers were fun with great personality, service was exemplary! Highly recommended if your living in or just passing through the Alberni Valley.
Amazing food, ambience, beer and good service. Definitely go for the ceasar salad upgrade, garlic awesomeness. Bring your appetite.
