Authentic and tasty. Always a good combination. Typical German restaurant interior with wooden walls decorated by a multitude of flags and old photos. Affordable prices. Major selection of schnitzels, and all are very good. Does lack some of the more "luxurious" choices like schweinshaxen, the pork knuckles, but maybe just not available that day. Could use a few more German beer options. But again, most important is the food - and it's good! Highly recommend, truly a gem and a must when in Port Alberni.
